CloudFit Software is seeking a Corporate Controller to build and scale the accounting function during a pivotal growth phase. This hands-on executive role will lead the monthly close, strengthen controls, and guide ERP implementation while developing a high-performing team.

You will own close processes, ensure ledger integrity, and partner with finance leadership to manage multi-state tax, audits, and vendor controls in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ownership of a complete financial close process and experience producing audited financial statements and supporting external audits.
• Multi-state registration and apportionment experience.
• Cost-accounting experience in a project-based, subcontractor-heavy, supplier-heavy environment.
• Experience as the accounting or GL counterpart to an HR-owned payroll function.
• Expertise in vendor-master and payment-fraud controls and related processes.
• Experience leading ERP implementation across process design and deployment.

Responsabilités

• Own and continuously improve monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and controls.
• Maintain integrity of GL and financial system of record for auditors and lenders.
• Design accounting policies, segregation of duties, and approval workflows.
• Oversee vendor-master integrity and payment-fraud controls; educate staff.
• Transition governance duties from interim to permanent internal owners or automation backlog.
