Job summary

Liquibase, a leader in Database DevOps, seeks a Controller reporting to the CFO to lead our accounting team and financial operations as we scale. You will run the monthly close, payroll, billing, AR/AP, and revenue recognition, while driving GAAP compliance and risk management across the organization.

You will oversee the annual audit, coordinate with tax advisors, manage treasury and cash flow, and mentor a growing accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and ability to communicate complex accounting issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly and quarterly close process, payroll, billing, AR/AP, GL, and revenue recognition.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, tax regulations, and industry standards; mitigate financial risks.
• Drive audit and tax oversight with external auditors and tax advisors.
