Active US bar and BigLaw background within 3 years strongly preferred. This engaging role emphasizes accuracy, concise writing, and collaboration with project managers to deliver high-quality legal data for next-generation AI systems.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in the United States.
• Current or recent experience within the last 3 years at a top-tier BigLaw firm, focused on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, or capital markets.
• Demonstrated experience in commercial litigation and high-value transactions.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements and legal instruments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong ability to interpret legal documents.
• Clear, concise written communication skills for explaining legal concepts to varied audiences.
• Legal data annotation or rubric-based review experience is helpful but not required. Prior AI experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze complex corporate documents, agreements, and deal structures involving mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets.
• Assess nuanced legal scenarios and provide detailed input that supports AI model training.
• Evaluate commercial litigation materials, identifying important legal principles and procedural details.
• Provide expert feedback on legal reasoning, issue spotting, and drafting approaches.
• Annotate, categorize, and explain corporate-law issues to support the development and refinement of legal datasets.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, clarity, and compliance with U.S. legal practice.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project managers and reviewers on evaluation rubrics and quality expectations.
