Job summary

SaidGig is seeking a seasoned lawyer to apply corporate, commercial, and M&A expertise to help train next‑generation AI systems through real‑world legal analysis, feedback, and documentation. This remote, US‑based contract role focuses on commercial, contract, corporate, M&A, and general counsel matters.

Responsibilities include evaluating documents for accuracy and compliance, drafting and reviewing contracts, explaining legal concepts for AI development, and contributing scenarios and samples

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited US law school and active bar membership.
• At least 5 years in corporate, business, or transactional law, including M&A.
• Experience as outside counsel, in-house counsel, or legal consultant.
• Strong drafting, regulatory compliance, risk management, and research skills.
• Able to simplify complex legal concepts for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate corporate, commercial, and M&A documents for accuracy, and US-law compliance.
• Draft and review contracts, policies, and agreements using corporate-law best practices.
• Explain complex legal concepts clearly for AI training.
• Identify legal issues and risks in business transactions.
• Contribute legal scenarios and samples to AI training datasets.
• Collaborate asynchronously with stakeholders to clarify deliverables.
• Provide precise written and verbal analysis of legal language and application.
