Merck & Co. is seeking a Growth-oriented Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) in Respiratory—COPD to drive strategic priorities. The role requires a credentialed physician-scientist and leadership in scientific exchange, research support, and congress activities.

You will liaison between scientists and the company, ensuring compliant dissemination of information and mentorship to field teams. The position covers the North East U.S.

Qualifications

• PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD required or equivalent terminal degree.
• Minimum 3 years relevant COPD/Respiratory experience beyond degree.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and networking skills.
• Ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions with key external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Develops professional relationships with national and regional SLs for access to approved medical and scientific information.
• Conducts peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintains a reliable presence with SLs.
• Addresses scientific questions and directs external inquiries to appropriate resources in line with policy.
• Maintains current knowledge of scientific and clinical environment in the AOI for the therapeutic area.
