Techead is seeking a Controller to lead the Firm’s accounting function from Miami, FL with remote work options. The role requires a CPA and seven-plus years in senior accounting leadership, preferably within a large law firm or professional services setting.

The Controller will oversee general ledger, close processes, financial reporting, treasury, and international accounting alignment, while mentoring the team and driving continuous improvements using ERP systems and automation.

Qualificações

• CPA license required; equivalent combinations may be considered.
• Seven+ years of progressively responsible accounting leadership.
• Experience in a large law firm or professional services a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the full accounting function including general ledger, monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, internal controls.
• Oversee preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements.
• Manage banking activities including cash forecasting and treasury initiatives; maintain bank relationships.
• Coordinate accounting across international offices ensuring alignment with global processes.
• Mentor and develop the Accounting team, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Provide ERP and reporting guidance; oversee client trust accounting activities and compliance.
