Job summary

Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady LLP seeks an experienced Controller to lead the firm’s financial operations and reporting, including trust accounting and client invoicing. The role partners with the COO on budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Aderant experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and a track record in law-firm finance with dashboards and KPIs for multi-office reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA preferred.
• 7+ years accounting/finance experience; Controller or senior finance leader.
• Law firm experience required.
• Hands-on Aderant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct all accounting operations: GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets and trust accounting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Provide financial metrics and KPIs with leadership for decision making.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash management.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
