Job summary

TECHEAD seeks an accomplished Controller to lead the Firm's accounting functions, drive financial accuracy, and oversee close processes. You will manage GL, audits, treasury, and interdepartmental collaboration while building a high-performing Accounting team across locations.

The role emphasizes process improvement, automation, and system-wide governance with strong leadership in a professional services setting. Location is remote for FL/TX residents, direct hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license required; equivalent combination considered.
• 7+ years leading accounting functions in a large/complex organization; law firm experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full accounting function including general ledger management and monthly close.
• Oversee preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements.
• Manage banking activities, cash forecasting, and treasury initiatives.
• Oversee accounting activities of international offices and ensure alignment with global processes.
• Develop and mentor Accounting team; drive automation and process improvements.
• Provide ERP configuration and workflow leadership; ensure client trust accounting compliance.
