Job summary

Join9am is seeking a Controller to own the accounting function end-to-end. This role includes ensuring GAAP compliance, managing external auditors, and producing strategic financial reports. Candidates should have 8–12 years of accounting experience, preferably as a Controller in a high-growth setting, and ideally possess a CPA.

Qualifications

• Start from what the business needs and work backwards to accounting.
• 3+ years as a Controller at a high-growth company.
• Experience with ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 718.

Responsibilities

• Design accounting that serves GAAP rigor and decision-making.
• Own the chart of accounts and maintain audit-ready GAAP reporting.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports.
