Job summary

AESC US LLC is hiring a Contracts Manager to own the contractual lifecycle for utility-scale BESS projects from bidding to signature and ongoing execution. The role collaborates with Sales, Legal, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain and Project Management to secure favorable terms while protecting the company’s interests.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in contract management, strong negotiation skills, and experience with EPC or infrastructure contracts in the energy storage sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years in a primary contract/commerce role incl. bidding, negotiation and closing.
• Willingness to coach others in negotiating and contract improvements.
• Experience with capital equipment, EPC or infra contracts; utility-scale energy storage preferred.
• Proven track record of leading high-value contract negotiations through to signature.
• Strong understanding of payment, LDs, warranty, liability, indemnity, insurance and security terms.
• Excellent written and spoken English with precise contract drafting ability.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and cross-functional coordination skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support RFP/RFQ/tender responses for utility-scale BESS projects, including bid strategy and terms.
• Lead negotiation of supply agreements and related documents to signature.
• Manage contract amendments, change orders, and variations during execution.
• Coordinate internal approvals, handover to project execution, and risk registers.
