Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Remote Contracts Associate II to join our Legal team. You will oversee the vendor contracting lifecycle, from drafting and redlining to execution, renewal and termination, while partnering with counsel and business stakeholders.

This role requires strong Contract Management skills, ability to coach others, and experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm EST, with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Associate’s degree with 2+ years relevant experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating contracts preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all phases of the vendor contracting process to ensure timely execution of agreements.
• Draft and prepare contracts using pre-approved corporate templates, ensuring consistency and adherence to policies.
• Review, analyze, and negotiate vendor‑provided contract documents to align with requirements and minimize risk.
• Review and respond to redlines and proposed revisions, coordinating with counsel as needed.
• Collaborate with counsel and business stakeholders to ensure contracts reflect business intent and compliance.
• Maintain template libraries, clause banks, and contracting playbooks in partnership with counsel.
• Provide escalation assistance for redlines outside pre-approved language.
