Job summary

Openforce is seeking a Contractor Payment Specialist to manage settlements for a portfolio of client accounts. You will reconcile payments, generate invoices, and ensure accurate distribution of funds to Independent Contractors while maintaining data integrity.

In this role you will work with cross-functional teams, respond to settlement inquiries, and contribute to process improvements. A strong payroll background and proficiency in Excel are essential, with a focus on accuracy and timely

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 3 years in a related field or an associate degree.
• Proven payroll experience in a fast-paced environment preferred; 1099 and/or W2 payments experience a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate, on-time settlements for a book of clients and independent contractors.
• Reconcile accounts, create invoices, and request funding; log and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain client deductions, update insurance fees, and provide reconciliation reports on request.
