Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Contract Recruiter to support the Skilled and Administrative Technical Team. You will manage full life cycle recruiting, build strong relationships with hiring managers, and drive talent acquisition in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

This remote position favors candidates on the East Coast (Delmarva region preferred) and may require travel up to 10% of the time. You will collaborate with HR, compensation, and L&D to ensure a superior candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, Communications or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of professional recruiting experience for non-exempt/exempt level employees.
• Experience with HR databases, ATS and Candidate Management Systems.
• Comfort sourcing passive candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn, and similar tools.
• Exposure to OFCCP requirements applicable to recruitment and selection processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Manage full life cycle recruiting to support hourly, non-exempt positions for specialized functions.
• Create search strategies to identify and attract top talent.
• Utilize sourcing tools to connect with potential candidates on job boards and networks.
• Collaborate with Hiring Managers, HR, Compensation, Learning and Development, and the Business.
• Maintain data integrity in the ATS and reporting systems.
• Assist with recruitment programs for specialized trades and campus or military hires.
• Meet hiring metrics and ensure completion of required documents per OFCCP standards.
• Monitor market trends and use data to forecast talent needs.
• Participate in career fairs, networking events, and campus recruiting activities.
