Perdue Farms in Charlotte, NC seeks a Contract Corporate Recruiter to own the full life cycle of salaried and contract recruiting, partnering with hiring leaders, and delivering a superior candidate experience.

This contract role supports EST or CST business needs, requires 3-5+ years of recruiting experience in corporate/manufacturing settings, and emphasizes building talent pipelines through social media and web-recruiting techniques.

Summary

Shape the future of our workforce as a Contract Recruiter, playing a key role in attracting and securing top talent across the organization. In this role, you will own the full recruiting lifecycle, building strong partnerships with hiring leaders, delivering exceptional candidate experience, and strengthening our presence in the communities we serve. You will design and execute innovative local and national recruiting strategies, blend proven sourcing methods with creative approaches, and guide candidates seamlessly from first connection through offer and close, ensuring every hire supports our business goals and culture.

This is a contract position. Must be able to work on EST or CST to support business needs.

Perform world class full life cycle recruiting for salaried positions. Ability to assist in recruitment for field positions as need be.

Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices to plan the delivery of solutions, improve business processes, and provide subject matter expertise in talent acquisition

Develops and maintains strong working relationships with client groups, HR field personnel, vendors, community organizations and other team members; participate in career fairs. Develops an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate. Develops and maintains a network of industry contacts to help identify and source qualified employees.

Reviews resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. Prescreens candidates. Creates and presents prescreening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval.

Interviews all candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers, including the use of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies. Manages the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers including all necessary communications and follow up with both the candidate and hiring managers.

Extends all offers of employment to selected candidates with coordination of the Hiring Manager, HR Business Partner, and Compensation Manager, all within the established guidelines.

Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if required using available tools such as ATS and HRMS.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field. Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

3-5+ years of professional level recruiting experience for exempt level employees within a Corporate and Manufacturing environment.

Proven track record of success in assisting in the development of a centralized recruiting activity.

Ability to collaborate at all levels of management at both corporate and offsite locations.

Solid working knowledge of social media and web-recruiting techniques to drive talent pipelines.

Experience meeting Talent Acquisition goals such as Time to Fill, Cost Per Hire, Agency Utilization, etc.

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as business needs require.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
