Job summary

Optum seeks a Contract Recruiter to manage full life-cycle recruitment across operations, customer service, clinical and technical functions. You will source, screen, interview, and negotiate offers, serving as a consultant to Hiring Managers and driving diverse, high-quality pipelines.

You will optionally telecommute from anywhere in the U.S., with focus on best practices, compliance, and collaboration to achieve hiring goals.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad range of positions in a volume-driven environment.
• Experience using sourcing techniques including lead generation, internet, cold calling, and college/alumni outreach.
• 2+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience.
• Experience recruiting for operations, customer service, clinical, business operations and/or technical roles.
• 1+ years’ recruiting experience using an ATS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full life-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer negotiation.
• Develop sourcing strategies and candidate pipelines for positions.
• Share market research on candidate flow and branding.
• Interview and evaluate candidates using structured templates and digital interviews.
• Mentor team members on recruitment initiatives and diversity sourcing.
• Collaborate with Hiring Manager and stakeholders to craft competitive offers.
• Navigate the recruitment process in alignment with SLAs.
