Job summary

Cohere is seeking a Contract Manager to join our remote-friendly Legal team. You will own the contract lifecycle, draft templates, and streamline processes to support rapid growth.

You will respond to routine requests, triage issues, manage documents, and track renewals and milestones to ensure timely approvals.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in contract management in tech/AI, strong organization and communication, and proficiency with Ironclad and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in contract management, preferably in tech/AI.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Proficient with contract management software (Ironclad) and standard contract types.
• Experience with NDAs, MSAs, and procurement contracts.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine contract requests and provide guidance on standard terms.
• Triage legal requests and route to counsel when needed.
• Maintain contract documents, amendments, and repositories.
• Monitor renewals, expirations, and milestones; provide proactive notifications.
• Oversee contract lifecycle from initiation to execution and repository maintenance.
• Develop and implement efficient contract management workflows.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Finance to align terms with business needs.
• Support contract administration, data entry, and preparation of materials.
