Job summary

Workbolt AI is building a flexible Lawyer Talent Network to connect experienced legal professionals with AI labs and tech companies. This open application offers contract opportunities on a rolling basis, with assignments designed to train, test, and evaluate AI systems.

Members work remotely on projects involving legal research, contract drafting, review, compliance, litigation, and risk analysis. Schedules are flexible, typically 15–30 hours per week, with jurisdictional and project-specific

Qualifications

• Experience providing legal services to AI labs or tech companies is a plus.
• Ability to draft precise, jurisdiction-specific documents.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic legal tasks involving research, issue spotting, contract drafting and review, litigation strategy, dispute resolution, compliance, and procedural analysis using clearly defined facts and jurisdictional assumptions.
• Evaluate AI-generated legal memoranda, contract clauses, case analyses, research summaries, and procedural guidance for legal accuracy, logical soundness, completeness, clarity, and relevance to the stated jurisdiction.
• Develop evaluation criteria, scoring rubrics, reference answers, and exemplar deliverables that define professional-quality legal reasoning, research, drafting, citation, and risk analysis.
• Provide precise written feedback identifying unsupported conclusions, missed issues, inaccurate authorities, ambiguous drafting, inconsistent assumptions, or jurisdictional limitations, with concrete recommendations for improvement.
• Work independently within project instructions and quality standards, document sources and jurisdictional assumptions, incorporate reviewer feedback, meet deadlines, and promptly flag privilege, confidentiality, ethics, or scope concerns.
