Experience in insurance, strong communication, and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; IIA-AIC designation within 12–18 months in the role.
• State adjuster license required.
• Three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate policies, forms, endorsements to determine coverage.
• Investigate claims, gather reports and records as needed.
• Interview claimants and witnesses regarding claims.
• Estimate repair, replacement, or compensation costs.
• Prepare findings and negotiate settlements; issue settlement checks and handle regulatory documents.
