Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a qualified Contents Adjuster to evaluate residential and commercial contents inventories on a Replacement Cost and Actual Cash Value basis, finalize reporting, and assist replacement services for the Contents Adjuster.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a year of customer service experience, and a preferred Resident Insurance Adjuster License. You will work in a collaborative team with attention to policy language and deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Resident Insurance Adjuster License (Fire & Other Hazards) preferred.
• One year customer service experience or equivalent required.
• Accounting and insurance background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residential and commercial contents inventories on a Replacement Cost and ACV basis.
• Finalizes inventory in preparation of reporting, including enclosures, letters, and detailed notes.
• Facilitates use of replacement services as requested by the Contents Adjuster.
• Reviews and processes replacement receipts.
• Applies limitations/exclusions based on policy coverage.
• Tracks time and logs file notes of daily field activity.
