Ideal candidates have strong underwriting knowledge, agency relationships, and a proven ability to collaborate across teams. This remote role involves travel and strategic territory development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Seven years of underwriting and sales experience in commercial lines preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial underwriting, pricing and coverage.
• Experience with agency relationships and market management.
• CPCU or CIC designation preferred.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Market Nationwide products to drive agency and company results.
• Drive profit and premium by developing, negotiating and executing business plans.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support Nationwide presence.
• Underwrite commercial line business through agencies or brokers.
• Develop and maintain strong agency relationships.
• Lead agency visits to develop new accounts and renewals.
• Ensure customer service levels and timely responses.
