Job summary

Utopiadesign is seeking a Construction Procurement Manager to own the tender process from package assembly to contractor selection. You will work with project managers, design teams, and estimators to ensure competitive, well-documented bids.

Responsibilities include managing RFPs/ITTs, building contractor shortlists, and driving audits and negotiation of terms. This is a fully remote role enabling work across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
• 5–10 years in tendering, procurement, or contracts within construction
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and BOQ
• Experience drafting RFPs/ITTs and reviewing subcontract terms
• Proven negotiation of price and terms with contractors
• Advanced Excel skills for bid comparisons and trackers
• Fluent English, additional languages a plus for international sourcing
• Comfortable working remotely across multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Assemble tender packages with PM, design/technical, and Estimating teams.
• Build/maintain contractor lists and grow database through market research.
• Issue RFPs/ITTs, handle queries and maintain audit trails.
• Coordinate site visits, collect quotations, ensure timely submissions.
• Negotiate commercial terms with shortlisted contractors.
• Prepare bid comparison tables with Estimators and present recommendations.
• Support handover from tender award to contract execution.
• Maintain tender registers and files in an auditable way
