Ideal candidates include architects or engineers with practical construction management experience who can take ownership, anticipate issues, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering plans.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and field activities.
• Strong communication with subcontractors and suppliers by phone.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret construction plans to understand project scope, specs and material requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, communicate work requirements, and follow up on schedules.
• Ensure contracts are signed and paperwork completed and organized.
• Identify and order materials from suppliers based on project plans.
• Coordinate deliveries to ensure materials arrive when needed.
• Align subcontractor schedules with construction progress.
• Maintain regular communication with the on-site supervisor to resolve coordination issues.
• Track outstanding items and follow up to keep work moving.
• Use CAD and online supplier platforms to support coordination and purchasing.
