Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee the construction of new stores and special projects from inception to turnover.

You will negotiate terms with developers, landlords, architects, and engineers to ensure timely, compliant delivery that meets BSRO standards. This remote role is centered in the Central US and requires travel 50-75% across multiple projects, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to guarantee quality and on-time turnover to store

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• 7+ years experience in multi-site construction management.
• General knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, electrical and mechanical disciplines and ADA requirements.
• Ability to travel 50-75% (approx. 45 weeks).
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in negotiation of construction activities and terms.
• Establish project schedule and adapt to meet delivery dates.
• Identify and qualify potential contractors for project use.
• Manage the GC competitive bidding process through contract execution.
• Monitor criteria compliance and quality control during all phases.
• Coordinate information flow between BSRO and external parties.
• Review scope and budget impact of outside contractor activities.
• Act as BSRO representative to building departments when applicable.
• Organize construction meetings and site activities.
• Coordinate turnover to Store Opening and Operations teams.
