Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Construction Manager to lead new store builds and special projects from inception to turnover. You will negotiate with developers, landlords, architects, and engineers, and manage multi-site construction programs remotely for the Western US.

The role requires 7+ years in multi-site construction, strong CAD/Excel/Word skills, and travel up to 75%. A Bachelor’s in engineering, architecture, or construction management is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• 7+ years experience in multi-site construction management.
• General knowledge of all construction disciplines (civil, structural, architectural, electrical, and mechanical) and ADA requirements.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments with competing priorities.
• General systems knowledge (CAD, Excel, Word) and ability to travel 50-75%.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the negotiation of construction activities to establish terms and schedules.
• Establish project schedules and adapt activities to meet delivery dates.
• Identify and qualify potential contractors for project use.
• Manage the GC competitive bidding process through contract execution.
• Monitor and enforce criteria compliance and quality control during construction.
• Coordinate information flow between BSRO and external contractors, architects, engineers, developers, landlords, and AHJs.
• Ensure timely review of documents through budgeting, entitlement, approval, and construction.
