Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead the construction of new stores and special projects from inception to operations turnover. You will coordinate with developers, landlords, architects, and engineers to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to budgets.

The role requires ~7+ years of multi-site construction management, familiarity with CAD/Excel/Word, and experience with ADA requirements, with 50–75% travel across the Southeast U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• ~7+ years experience in multi site construction management.
• General knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines and ADA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the negotiation of construction activities to establish terms, milestone schedules, criteria, etc.
• Establish project schedule and adapt activities to meet delivery dates.
• Identify and qualify potential contractors for project use.
• Manage the GC competitive bidding process through contract execution.
• Monitor and enforce criteria compliance and quality control during all construction phases.
• Coordinate information flow between BSRO and external contractors, architects and engineers.
• Ensure timely review of documents throughout budgeting, entitlement, jurisdictional approval and construction processes.
• Organize and conduct construction meetings and project turnover to Store Opening and Operations teams.
