Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to oversee a book of business, help retain clients and support new business. You will coordinate day-to-day administrative tasks, respond to service requests, and ensure accuracy in policy administration, billing, claims and coverage analysis.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with active P&C licensing; CIC is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience in insurance brokerage or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty (P&C) licensing required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Renewals: research, submissions, negotiate coverages, present proposals.
