Job summary

GHD's Construction group is hiring a Construction Field Engineer to work on construction job sites across the United States, with openings across Ohio, Virginia, and Illinois.

The role involves ensuring deadlines and quality, supporting estimations, and coordinating with project teams. The position requires travel up to 50% and will involve rotations home; candidates can be located anywhere in the USA.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction or a related field.
• 2 years of construction experience preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is a plus.
• Familiarity with estimating and GPS software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project proposals, including reviewing RFQs and estimating.
• Support the Superintendent with timelines and project requirements.
• Be the primary contact for materials and equipment orders.
• Perform GPS surveying and equipment setup.
• Assist with weekly timesheets and project tracking.
• Provide training to team members as needed.
