Qualifications

• Approximately 8–10 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong practical accounting knowledge.
• Demonstrated experience with job costing or project-based accounting.
• Experience with Accounts Payable.
• Strong expense coding and cost-allocation experience.
• Experience working with QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software.
• Comfortable working with expense-management platforms such as Ramp or similar tools.
• ERP or operational-system experience.
• Experience within construction, landscaping, field services, project-based businesses, or related industries is highly advantageous.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong reconciliation and investigative skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and determine their underlying cause.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Comfortable managing a high volume of transactions across multiple jobs or projects.
• Ability to work independently and make sound accounting judgments.
• Process-oriented mindset.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Job costing and project accounting end-to-end across two companies.
• Oversee Ramp expense workflow and ensure proper documentation before ERP sync.
• Manage Accounts Payable and labor allocations to correct jobs/cost centers.
• Maintain QuickBooks Online and perform routine reconciliations.
• Support transition to Aspire and Jobber ERP migrations.
• Develop SOPs for AP, expense management, and job costing to support growth.
• Identify inefficiencies and replace manual interventions with automated processes.
