Job summary

Cable One, Inc. is seeking a Connected Properties Sales Engineer to drive technical discovery and design for property-based connectivity solutions, including in-unit Wi‑Fi, data services, and security considerations.

You will partner with Sales, Engineering, and operations to assess requirements, create high‑level designs, and prepare proposals for multi‑dwelling and hospitality environments. Remote work options are available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Five or more years in sales engineering, technical sales, networking, or a customer-facing technical role.
Expertise in business connectivity, data services, Wi‑Fi, networking design, and implementation.
Bachelor’s or associate degree in Engineering, CS, IT, Business, or related field; relevant certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery sessions to translate requirements into actionable design.
Design right-sized managed connectivity solutions for multi-building and hospitality environments.
Coordinate site assessments, validate feasibility, and hand off designs to implementation teams.
Deliver live or remote technical presentations and product demonstrations to stakeholders.
Create BOMs, configurations, and documentation for proposals and sales quotes.
