Reed Smith LLP seeks a Conflicts & Risk Management Attorney to analyze and resolve conflicts of interest within the Business Intake Group. The role emphasizes research, drafting, and cross-functional collaboration with no billable hour requirement.

The successful candidate will hold a J.D. and be admitted to the bar, with strong written/speaking skills and the ability to work across multiple jurisdictions. Remote work is possible with national coverage.

Qualifications

• J.D. and Bar admission required.
• Experience with conflict analysis preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Strong analytical and data handling skills; ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with PC and Windows applications.
• Knowledge of Intapp Risk applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze conflict reports and facilitate resolution or avoidance of conflicts of interest.
• Draft conflict waivers, engagement letters and related documents.
• Perform electronic research on legal issues, corporate affiliations, SEC filings, public records, sanctions and more.
• Use databases to collect relevant information and construct ethical walls as required.
• Assist the Director of Business Intake and Conflict Specialists; support in conflict searches and evaluations.
