Job summary

Seyfarth is seeking a Conflicts Researcher to generate accurate conflicts of interest reports using Intapp Open and online research tools. You will work with firm leadership and staff to handle requests, applying knowledge of legal terminology and conflicts principles with attention to deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or relevant conflicts experience), strong research skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; prior conflicts experience may be considered.
• Experience with relational databases such as Intapp Open, LegalKey, or CompliGuard Analyze.
• Online research experience preferred, including Dun & Bradstreet.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business conflicts of interest reports according to department procedures using Intapp Open and online tools.
• Know and follow department procedures and conflicts request workflow.
• Understand basic conflicts of interest principles as taught by the National Conflicts Manager.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and manage assignments with firm/department priorities.
• Interpret and analyze information to synthesize conclusions from varied data.
• Be a self-starter, work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment; exercise independent judgment.
