Fennemore is seeking a full-time, remote Conflicts Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting to the Conflicts and Compliance Manager, you will identify, analyze, and resolve potential conflicts of interest to safeguard client relationships and ensure ethical compliance.

This role supports new business intake and attorney onboarding, with responsibilities including conflicts searches, research, onboarding checks, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a legal, compliance, or law firm environment.
• Familiarity with legal ethics, due diligence, and compliance concepts.
• Experience with automated conflict-checking systems and corporate research tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Process conflicts searches and new business intake requests.
• Conduct research and cross-reference attorney, client, and matter information.
• Review and report potential conflicts of interest and provide recommendations.
• Ensure accurate documentation for new matters and client engagements.
• Assist with attorney onboarding by running pre-employment conflicts checks.
• Track compliance documentation including waivers, engagement letters, and outside counsel guidelines.
• Respond to workflow requests and maintain records.
