Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to manage conflicts intake, research, and reporting for new clients and matters. The role supports the conflict resolution process with thorough review of conflict results and materiality assessments, coordinating with stakeholders and attorneys to ensure timely clearance.

Located in the United States with potential for remote work; schedules include Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year degree preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience required, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Experience following bankruptcy guidelines and related rules with respect to conflicts processing preferred.
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete under time constraints.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally and provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Process conflict searches for daily new client and new matter requests in a timely manner.
• Perform detailed corporate research using multiple search resources and apply information from recent press releases and historical references.
• Review Intapp Open workflow requests for accurate processing.
• Provide detailed review of Conflict Results Report to identify true potential conflicts.
• Conduct necessary research to determine materiality of potential conflicts when appropriate.
• Research Conflicts Database and other firm documents to ensure proper conflicts resolution.
• Contact the appropriate request stakeholders to clear potential conflicts.
• Communicate with the Manager regarding resolution of potential conflicts of interest.
• Document and organize documentation regarding resolution of conflicts of interest.
• Maintain contact with attorneys and staff on conflict of interest matters.
• Track status of outstanding or ongoing Work Flow requests.
• Handle special projects assigned by the Director of Conflicts Operations and Conflicts Managers.
