Job summary

Turner Construction Company’s Advanced Technology Group is seeking an experienced estimator to prepare detailed project estimates from drawings and specs. This role can be performed remotely from any U.S.

location, with reports to Lead Estimator, Senior Estimator, or Preconstruction Manager. You will assemble bids for Lump Sum, GMP, and Cost Plus contracts, manage document control, coordinate with trade partners and design teams, and lead junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in estimating or related field.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specs.
• Knowledge of building construction, markets and trade practices.
• Ability to manage multiple bids with deadlines and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimate including quantity take-offs, analysis, and studies for assigned scope.
• Assemble bids for Lump Sum, GMP, and Cost Plus contracts.
• Lead document management for project and distribute information to stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison with trade partners, design team, and client; manage assignments.
• Support constructability reviews and value analysis discussions.
• Develop scope understanding including contract documents, site logistics, and schedule.
