Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced MEP Estimator within the Advanced Technology Group to work on Biotech/Pharma projects. This role can be performed anywhere in the United States, with prior Biotech/pharma estimating experience required.

Responsibilities include preparing detailed estimates for ME P trades, conducting quantity take-offs, and performing constructability and life-cycle analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field is required.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, scopes, and schedules for cost analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration with vendors, trade partners, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for MEP trades (MEP, LV systems) from design through construction documents.
• Develop quantity take-offs, analyses, and studies for mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, technology, and LV systems.
• Coordinate pricing with suppliers and vendors and build a bidder list.
• Perform constructability reviews and communicate issues to the team.
• Prepare and assemble estimates for different contract types (lump sum, GMP, Cost Plus).
• Assist in evaluating subcontractor proposals and change orders.
