Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a senior estimator for pharmaceutical projects, with the role performable remotely from any U.S. location.

You will prepare detailed estimates from drawings and specs, assemble bids for different contract types, and lead document management across the project team. You will communicate bids and scopes of work, gain a strong understanding of owner and architect requirements, and collaborate with trade partners, design teams, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, trade practices.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Knowledge of estimating documents and ability to provide accurate qualitative and quantitative analysis of documents.
• Conceptual ability, able to work with minimum information and quickly develop understanding of owner/architect requirements.
• Project management of competing demands, and ability to meet established deadlines.
• Familiarity with operating procedures and methods of other departments – Procurement, Operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimate including quantity take-offs, analysis, estimate input, and studies.
• Prepare and assemble bids and proposals for Lump Sum, GMP, and Cost Plus contracts.
• Lead document management for project and distribute to stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison with trade partners, design team, and client; manage assigned trade partners.
