Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Computational Designer to join our data-driven Computational Design team. You will develop advanced computational workflows across architecture, urban design, planning and engineering projects for local and international clients.

The role offers location flexibility within the United States with the option to work remotely. You will build and refine computational models, integrate GIS/BIM platforms, and collaborate with clients to deliver innovative solutions while keeping pace

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture-related fields; Master’s preferred.
• Proficiency in Rhino and Grasshopper; experience building and deploying complex parametric models.
• Knowledge of Python; using to extend Grasshopper capabilities.
• 3+ years in urban design, planning, landscape or architectural firms.

Responsibilities

• Build computational models for various projects.
• Build, maintain and improve computational workflows and products across the firm.
• Work interoperably between platforms including 3D modeling software, GIS, BIM, and software development environments.
• Handle data sources across environmental, economic, planning and demographic data.
