Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to develop mechanical and process piping designs for high-tech facilities. You will create construction documents, floor plans, rack elevations and piping diagrams, primarily using AutoCAD and Revit.

The role may be remote with preference for US locations near Albany, NY; Chandler, AZ; Hillsboro, OR; or Boise, ID, and requires travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher and a CADD certificate or equivalent work experience.
• Hands-on experience creating floor plans, layouts, piping diagrams and rack elevations.
• Knowledge of cleanroom materials and high-purity systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit to produce drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents for mechanical and process piping systems.
• Develop floor plans, layouts, piping diagrams and rack elevations.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers and suppliers.
• Produce drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit; support field teams as needed.
• Lead a Sr Mechanical Designer role to fulfill department needs.
