Zusammenfassung

Engage PEO is seeking a Compliance Paralegal to support our in-house HR consultants and Legal Department with regulatory compliance across states, ESAC, and IRS. This remote, full-time role involves assisting attorneys, preparing IRS CPEO forms, and ensuring timely reporting to regulators.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience; PEO exposure is a plus. The position offers comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• PEO experience is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; understanding of legal language and research methods.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and assist with legal documents for attorneys as directed.
• Prepare IRS CPEO 8973 forms for new clients, terminating clients, and quarterly updates.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of client addition/termination reporting to state regulatory agencies, ESAC and IRS.
• Assist the Legal Department with license renewals promptly; manage administration of state licensing folders.
• Assist AGC and VP of Compliance with client termination processes, including contract reviews, investigations, and client notifications; provide weekly reports on compliance.
• Performs other duties as required.
