firsthand Health is seeking a Compliance Manager to run the day-to-day compliance program for a multi-state, peer-workforce organization serving individuals living with severe mental illness. The role ensures regulatory adherence across states, maintains policies, and drives corrective actions.

The position reports to the Sr. Director, People Operations and requires hands-on execution, policy governance, and collaboration with a diverse team to support compliant, high-quality peer-delivered

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Healthcare compliance experience with Medicaid/Medicare requirements.
• Knowledge of federal fraud and abuse laws (False Claims Act, Anti‑Kickback Statute, CMPL).
• HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
• Experience operating across multiple state regulatory environments.
• Ability to work independently as the sole compliance staff.
• Ability to research and apply unfamiliar state requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the compliance policy library with annual review and publication.
• Maintain state-specific addenda for peer certification and Medicaid billing.
• Maintain Code of Conduct and annual attestations.
• Serve as operational point of contact for compliance across all fh locations.
• Prepare the compliance dashboard, agendas, and minutes for committees and boards.
• Maintain annual compliance work plan and report progress.
• Maintain the compliance risk assessment with annual refresh and changes.
