Job summary

firsthand Health seeks a Compliance Manager to run the day-to-day compliance program for a multi-state, peer-workforce organization. You will monitor policies, conduct audits, and drive corrective actions across states while maintaining regulatory readiness and training initiatives to support a lived-experience workforce.

The role requires independent work, strong regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with the Compliance Officer and General Counsel to ensure policy alignment and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with hands-on healthcare compliance exposure.
• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare framework and HIPAA privacy/security.
• Proven ability to work across multiple states independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the compliance program across multiple states with audits and training.
• Maintain policies, attestations, and state addenda for Medicaid and certification rules.
• Prepare dashboards, agendas, and reports for committees and leadership.
• Investigate issues, manage corrective actions, and support payer and regulatory reviews.
• Oversee credentialing checks, sanctions screening, and disciplinary standards.
