Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Senior Medical Auditor to lead complex coding audits and QA initiatives from a remote location. You will work with professionals across the U.S. to assess E/M, Surgery, and CPT/HCPCS coding accuracy, while ensuring compliance with CPT, ICD-10-CM/PCS guidelines and HIPAA rules.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of combined auditing/coding experience and relevant certifications. This remote role involves up to 10% travel and requires authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher plus 4 years auditing/coding experience, or a high school diploma plus 8 years of related experience.
• AAPC/AHIMA certification (CPC/CPMA/CCS/CCS-P/RHIT/RHIA/RRC/CIRCC) preferred.
• Three years combined experience in professional fee/Facility auditing and/or ICD-10-CM, PCS, CPT/HCPCS.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and quarterly pro-fee and/or facility E/M, Surgery, IR/VIR coding audits for clients.
• Conduct retrospective audits on vendor coders and individual clients for Quality Assurance.
• Deliver educational sessions to vendors and clients based on audit results.
• Ensure vendor and client compliance with official coding guidelines.
• Create audit reports and summaries per policies and procedures.
• Maintain auditing schedules and timelines.
• Educate and support the internal coding team.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow all state/federal release of information guidelines.
