Job summary

Google is seeking a Community Development Manager in the Strategic Partnerships Office to lead complex multi-disciplinary programs spanning local to global sites. You will coordinate requirements, schedules, risks, and cross-functional collaboration to advance community objectives while engaging civic influencers and civil servants.

The role emphasizes developing scalable place-based strategies, building partnerships, and embedding investment standards across expanding sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• 5 years of experience in one or more fields: data centers, utilities, government, advanced manufacturing, or capital intensive industries.
• 5 years of experience developing and launching local, state, national or global public-private partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners.
• Coordinate with internal peers to generate tangible social outcomes and interface with civic influencers and civil servants.
• Advocate regional advancement objectives by providing evidence-based analysis and structured programming grounded in local assessments across current and targeted site locations.
• Embed civic investment standards across an expanding footprint, serving as a dedicated advisor on facility site delivery and public engagement strategies.
