Arena Staffing is seeking a Communications Specialist on a full-time contract basis to craft clear, engaging content across internal and external channels. You will work with leadership to develop messages, coordinate initiatives, and maintain brand-consistent communications.

The role requires strong writing and organizational skills, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and delivering timely, audience-focused materials. Remote work is available with standard 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in communications, corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, content development, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proofreading, editing, research, and content-development abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with different audiences and organizational levels.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent messaging and tone.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and distribute internal and external communications.
• Create employee announcements, newsletters, email communications, presentations, talking points, and informational materials.
• Support communication strategies that align with organizational goals, priorities, and brand standards.
• Collaborate with leadership and internal departments to gather information and develop accurate, audience-focused messaging.
• Translate complex business or technical information into clear and engaging content.
• Manage communication schedules, content calendars, deadlines, and distribution activities.
• Support executive and leadership communications, including announcements, presentations, briefing materials, and talking points.
• Develop content for websites, intranet platforms, newsletters, email campaigns, and other digital communication channels.
