Job summary

Chinook Systems is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager for a remote role that requires travel to client sites up to 10-20%. You will coordinate commissioning, energy management and facilities management across multiple projects, ensuring conformance with plans and standards while mentoring junior staff.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in commissioning, a relevant engineering degree, and a commissioning certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years direct experience in commissioning facilities systems.
• 4+ years managing or supervising people.
• 2+ years managing commissioning and/or engineering projects.
• CxA/CCP/CBCP or equivalent commissioning certification.
• Knowledge of LEED, ASHRAE, BCA, ACG, GSA standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and scheduling software.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Execute commissioning, energy management and facilities management services on multiple projects.
• Prepare commissioning plans, specifications, checklists and test reports.
• Conduct design reviews and training plan reviews and O&M manual reviews.
• Witness functional performance testing and site observations.
• Coordinate equipment startups and testing activities.
• Ensure conformance with project requirements, plans, and contracts.
• Attend project meetings and review technical reports for accuracy.
• Facilitate transition of systems to operations and maintenance programs.
• Provide guidance to project teams and support bid/proposal documentation.
