Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8 years of direct commissioning experience across building systems.
• 4 years of experience managing or supervising people.
• 2 years of managing commissioning and/or engineering projects.
• CxA, CCP, CBCP or equivalent commissioning certification required.
• Knowledge of LEED, ASHRAE, BCA, ACG, GSA.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute commissioning, energy management and facilities management services for new and existing buildings on multiple concurrent projects.
• Review design and construction documents, standards, codes, scopes, and deliverables.
• Prepare commissioning plans, specs, checklists, tests and reports.
• Conduct design reviews, training plan reviews, and O&M manual reviews.
• Witness testing and site observations; resolve coordination issues.
• Facilitate transitions to operations and maintenance programs.
• Develop working relationships with clients and internal/external teams.
• Provide technical guidance and participate in bid/proposal support.
• Maintain quality assurance on deliverables and activities.
