Job summary

Chinook Systems Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to oversee commissioning across the lifecycle of client facilities. You will coordinate and deliver energy management and facilities services, coaching junior staff and guiding teams to successful project outcomes.

The role is remote with travel to client sites up to 10–20% and frequent collaboration with teams in the Eastern Time Zone. A strong background in commissioning standards and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years direct commissioning experience on facilities systems.
• 4+ years experience managing or supervising people.
• 2+ years experience managing commissioning/engineering projects.
• CxA, CCP, CBCP or equivalent commissioning certification.
• Knowledge of LEED, ASHRAE, BCA, ACG, GSA standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and scheduling software.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute commissioning, energy management and facilities management services for multiple projects.
• Review and interpret RFPs, design docs, standards, codes, and deliverables.
• Prepare commissioning plans, specs, checklists, tests and reports.
• Conduct design reviews, submittals, and O&M manual reviews.
• Witness functional performance testing and site observations.
• Coordinate issues affecting equipment, startup and testing activities.
• Ensure conformance with project requirements and contracts.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
