First American's GO Title division seeks a Commercial Title Examiner to ensure smooth, secure closings for large-scale real estate. You will analyze public records, verify ownership, and identify title issues while collaborating with underwriters and clients, using tools like MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.

You will review leases, deeds, liens, and easements, prepare title commitments, and resolve discrepancies through thorough research.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial title insurance experience in title searching, examining, and writing commitments.
• Knowledge of legal and real estate terminology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/Pro, and data platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized, detail-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced, paperless environment.
• Clear, professional communication with a customer-service mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects across single to multi-property commercial transactions where every detail matters.
• Search, examine and connect data across counties and jurisdictions; verify legal property descriptions.
• Review public records to determine ownership and title-related restrictions.
• Summarize findings and prepare title commitments and reports with precision and clarity.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information through careful research and documentation.
• Collaborate with underwriters and internal partners to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the title process.
