Job summary

First American's GO Title division is hiring a Commercial Title Examiner in Michigan with remote eligibility. You will analyze public records, verify ownership, and identify title issues while collaborating with underwriters and clients to close large-scale real estate transactions.

You’ll manage multi-property projects, search and connect data across counties, review leases, deeds, liens, and easements, and prepare title commitments and reports.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of directly related commercial title insurance experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/Pro, internet, and data platforms.
• Ability to learn company systems and analyze complex information.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects ranging from single to multi-property commercial transactions.
• Search, examine, and connect data across counties and jurisdictions.
