Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Commercial Sales Engineer for its Central team. This remote role reports to the Manager of Sales Engineering and supports customers with technical product presentations, requirement gathering, and product evaluations to drive cloud security transformations.

The ideal candidate has a cybersecurity/networking background and 2+ years in sales engineering or network systems integration, plus a CS-related degree and travel willingness.

Qualifications

• AI tool exploration and integration into workflows.
• Proven cybersecurity and networking background with TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, and firewalls.
• 2+ years as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems integrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
• Ability to travel to visit with customers.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers.
• Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions meet goals.
• Lead product evaluations and custom configurations.
• Design evaluation test plans with customers for successful outcomes.
